In this opening of this quite popular film, the plot isn't really explained in the two minutes. It introduces the few main characters and social media. The opening shot is the camera starting out low and blurring into the main character on the computer. There is a lot of eye-to-eye shots when she's looking at the computer and then it goes to the computer and what she is looking at and typing. There is a few close-up shots which show her expression towards the comments made on the computer. There is dialogue in the opening of this film between her and her mother and her comments towards the texts. The sound throughout the opening is a song that is heard but not seen anywhere. The jobs featured in the beginning are the main characters, music, editor, production designer, director of photography, executive producers, producer, writer, and director. The films budget was unknown since it was released as a TV film before a DVD film. I was also not able to find how much money it made. But the film did catch enough peoples eyes to earn some awards, such as, the Canadian Screen Awards and the Prism Awards.
