CCR Draft #4

In the production of this film, I utilized the iPhone 8 and its camera.  The iPhone 8 has a 12-megapixel rear camera, auto-HDR, exposure controls, and a 5X digital zoom. The iPhone 8 also has an f/1.8 aperture meaning the camera is able to let in more light, making for better shots in low light and sharper images overall. In editing this film, I used an app on my phone for iMovie. I was able to blend the clips together, add music, add voice-overs, and add text all in that app.

CCR Draft #3

My production skills have improved immensely. In the beginning, I didn't know how to put two clips together. I now know how to smoothly transition clips together, put a voice-over on top of the clips and crop the clips. Adding music to the whole thing was probably the easiest thing for me. I also learned how to add text to the film and smoothly transition the text for the credits. Due to my experience in photography, it was easy to plan out this film in my head and set everything up. The camera angles and locations came easily to me due to the experience.

CCR Draft #2

My film engages with the young adult audience and touches the heart. This film would be considered as a romance or tragedy. It has the contents of love and loss. It reaches my audience through media outreach and advertising on social network and television. With the popular plot, it relates to a wide range of families who would relate to this film. I would release this film on same day, as seen in theaters, to Netflix. I believe that same families can't afford to see it in theaters due to family issues and it relates to this film.

CCR Draft #1

Our film was a tragic drama and it involved romance and loss. We used incidental music and cheery music to portray the bad times and good times, the highs and lows, of this story. The plot was based around a couple. The male was in the Army and was injured in combat. He came home with severe brain injuries resulting in memory loss. This is a common issue in the world with families having to deal with their loved veterans being changed permanently and having to deal with it as a family.

Final Revisions/Target Audience Research

My film's target audience is young adults, since the genre of my film is tragic drama, it draws the attention and hearts of young adults and adults, probably mainly females, as it pretty much a "chick flick" with the romance level. The audience ages are ranging around 13-30. This film will most likely attract audiences from all over the country, as well as all education levels. It does have room to attract other types of audiences due to the science element of memory loss.

Revision/Research~Target Audience

FILM #2 ~ Beastly (2011)

I would consider this film to have a target audience of young adults, teenage girls and anyone who wants to watch and emotional film about love. My film targets the same audience and for the same reason I believe. The film had Vanessa Hudgens in it who was big during this time so all of the children and young adults were out to see this film. They basically persuaded young adults and children to see this movie by using a well known and popular actress in this film and making it a love story. They released this film on a DVD and in the theaters. For my film, to market it, I would release it in theaters and on Netflix. I would also promote it on social media, including Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and YouTube.
